Crime figures increase year on year, making it vital for occupiers of commercial premises to improve their security measures to protect their property from intruders. Traditional solutions such as barbed or razor wire appear difficult to breach, but are easily damaged and can be quickly passed by a determined intruder. Team Security Systems are international installers of a high voltage electrified system designed to safely, legally and permanently deter would-be intruders to prevent perimeter attacks from taking place rather than responding once access has been gained.

The system works by sending a high voltage electrical pulse around the wires of a fence which will give a painful, but safe electric shock to anyone who touches the fence. Any further tampering or cutting of the wires will set off the alarm sounder and any additional security equipment. The system can be configured to activate floodlights, CCTV cameras, remote alarms and auto-diallers, making an undetected perimeter breach virtually impossible.

The system can be arranged into multiple zones to improve detection of the perimeter attack with each zone being monitored from the control keypad. The equipment can be freestanding, or can be attached to existing fences, gates, walls, or roofs.
The installation of an electrified fence, whilst dramatic, is not expensive, especially when compared with the cost of theft and damage caused by intruders. Many sites have also found that their insurance premiums reduce, and that they no longer need to employ security guards.
At the vast majority of sites where an electrified fence system has been installed intrusions or attempted intrusions have dropped to zero. Would-be intruders simply move on to easier targets.
